Good morning, Andrew..this is beautiful...presented exactly as you took it, one really feels the moment, the realness of the clouds renting, backlit by the sun for the merest moment, revealing a bit of its rays, but more, the deeper, more ominous sky behind. What a naturally beautiful composition. You have resisted the current rage to insert all sorts of extra drama by way of stormy clouds, seagulls and a kite or two thrown in for the heck of it. You have given us what is! If you don't get all the views of the photo art illustrations, don't worry, those who look, really SEE the gorgeousness of nature at her best. (i agree that cropping a bit off the bottom would put all the attention in that deep cleft of sky, exactly where you want it). Thanks for bringing this here to UF, Andrew!
very nicely done. Only drawback: the lighter spot at the bootom of the image should be cropped, IMHO. It really draws the eyes, and doesn't add anything to the picture. Regards. Y
