Great colors. Great composition and framing with the rocks and shadow..
In my opinion, this is a portrait type photo and centering is appropriate

you DO love water in your photographs, don't you? :) splendid shot.. great colors and texture.. I've always heard here and there that an object shouldn't be centered.. BUT this photograph is the rule breaker..! i LOVE it :)

Ryan, Thanks for all the advice and comments!! -- I for one like this shot because it is in the center..... I feel as if the colors on the right draw the attention away from the "dead center" feel.

Hey Ryan, I do like that arrangement better! Besides having a little more room at the top I think the angle is more interesting. Nice work!

Nice shot, Ryan - really beautiful colors! My only nit would be that it's a bit static due to the dead-center position of the leaf - maybe give it a little more room on the right? Love the texture in the background (silt?)
