Pink to rust in the masonry! Red, white, yellow and blue! The muted teal of the pipes and concrete! And the small details of the lag bolt holes, rusted brackets and lines of mortar. I love this type of image, actively look for opportunities of this sort, and rejoice when they appear on UF. As for the composition [I know the "rule"], I think moving the pipes away from the center lessens the dynamic tension of the picture. The pipes, as they are now, and as they should, work as an abrupt counterpoint to the horizontal flow of the image. And to emphasize that counterpoint even more I would have squared the picture, cropping just above the rusted pipe bracket, leaving the bottom as is. Or, at least, reducing the vertical by cropping at the dark brick, top left. Anyway it's a wonderful image. Wish it were mine!
