About Another from the same session as 'Cousins' I guess you'll either love or hate the framing. This shot was captured in between futile attempts to line up family groupings.

Very sensitive rendition of athmosphere by the way you treated the subject. Are the Prince Edward Island children the most beautiful in the world? You make them look so! Suzanne

Hey Robert/Bob, thanks for the comments. This was a candid grab shot as I mentioned so if I went in and grabbed the flowers the little girl would have freaked :-) Kind of a wedding outtake. This couple actually eloped in June after booking me for August 9th. So in lieu of 'wedding' photography I did a 3 hour family session complete with little girls with flowers and flower girl dresses. By the end they were literally rolling in the mud puddles (see accompanying image). Actually got some cool images after a lot of stress and angst trying to get children to look and smile! Yes super busy, 22 weddings and a zillion family sessions not to mention corporate and commercial work...cha-ching!

Nice colorizing and such but I find this a bit busy. Not in subject but composition. The flowers, being the brightest part of a rather flat tonal range, really keep my eye bouncing around. This could work well without the roses I think and the "frame" neither adds or subtracts.

"...line up family groupings." hmmmm, must be a wedding outtake. Keeping busy are we? Hey, it'll all be over soon once the chill of fall/winter settles in and everyone goes back to hibernating again. ('cept for us in so-cal. we just get the beaches back to ourselves)

Louise this is such a charming photo of these little sisters. I love the colouration, it is perfect for the image. I like your framing too, I wish I knew how to do that kind. Very nice.

Thank you for your very kind words on my photo today. :)

Beautiful girls, wonderful curls... Your subtle technique of using sepia with sensitively selected areas of color is just perfect for this subject and very well executed.

Heart warming indeed. What a lovely portrait. The lighting, coloring and border are absolutely excellent. Your work is simply breathtaking. I enjoy photographing alot of things, but childrens portraits inspire me the most ( probably because of my daughter). I am fascinated by your work, and I hope to grow and be able to capture moments like you have here. SIMPLY HEARTWARMING. Another one of your photos to be added to my favorites, along with numerous others captured by you.

Nice toning and nice capture of the lovely girls. I don't think I'll like the frame, but just my taste of course. Regards.

Hello Louise, you gave this doubleportrait just the right "romantic" touch. I just love those soft tones here. The expression on the face of the girl on the left is wonderful... little bit shy... hiding her face behind the bouquet. Great! My best regards,
Diana.
