Hi Lukasz, this is different, in a very nice way, I think. I like the almost dead-centred composition, and the hole in the trees behind it. Gives a nice trio of things for the eye. I also really like the telephone wire running across the top, and the long grass of the bottom of the frame.
It all feels timeless -- as if it's been going on forever and will continue on forever.
Really beautifully done, and I love the title and mood of this series. sorry it's not a new camera, but it's a nice one!
This is the second night running that I have logged on to find yet another Harvest of Sorrow. It took me a while to get over it last night( a very effective photo,it got me down for a while )but this one just doesn't -fortunately- get to me.If it weren't for the title I would have considered it just boring,I mean there's nothing really sad about this scene ,just a feeling ,maybe,of monotony.Harvest time is more a time of celebration,it's the completion of a whole process and one which we're celebrating here,in Antequera in our annual August fair, eating and drinking and generally making merry as has been the rural custom here over the centuries. So,do cheer up,get a roll of colour film and immerse yourself inthe beautiful golden colours, textures and shapes of the harvested fields!I've just got back from doing that and I'm feeling great.By the way, I've looked at your portfolio and enjoyed many of them.Regards Tony
Interesting image. In many ways different from your others. Carefully constructed to appear uncomposed?..and taken in a different time? A little frightening to me.
