As a fan of B&W I was interested in your shot but I have a couple of things that would make it better. First the main problem here is your DOF, the statue in front is nicely focused but the main building behind it is very soft. If you?re in a situation like this again shoot this at a smaller aperture like f8 to f16, this will add more depth to the image and bring the entire whole image into focus. The second problem I see is the lighting, although shot in B&W you still have some harsh lighting. Black and white is all abut tones and you really don?t have it here. Shoot something like this later in the day then the lighting would be better, or even earlier in the morning (depending on the sun position). As a last thing this image needs less contrast, it needs softer tones to smooth it out
