thanks Brad you are right. I did have to crop out the blond with her back to me beside him. I have just tried to sharpen it in PHotosuite III. I am going to get Photoshop Elements I think in future. The crow's feet is the whole picture, thanks for pointing that out.

Nice Snapshot Steve. If t was me though, I think I would have opened the apeture up more to f2 or so to throw the background more out of focus to separate the subject a little more.

Apeture Priority mode will allow you to do this.

I would also suggest that you use an unsharp mask filter to sharpen u the detail a little more. the crinkles around his eyes could be a highlight that, because the image is slightly soft, tends to get a little lost in the image as presented
