Hi Volker... wonderful picture. I went 3 times to pantanal. but I never saw a sunrise so beautiful like yours. Did you know Bonito, a little town near pantanal with incredible waters? I hope so...

@André: I'm afraid, my Portuguese is not good enough to totally understand Your
comment, but I nevertheless will try to answer it: It's a crying shame that those
incredible treasures of nature in Brazil are going to be sacrificed to some national
and international economic interests ( even german companies are involved, and:
Hello Mr. Bush, how about signing the Kyoto-protocol? ). And if those treasures
will be destroyed ( it's already happening with highspeed! ) we all- and I mean:
each of us- will be guilty!

@Kim: I am not exactly what You'd call religious, but having been in this place,
watching this fragile balance of nature,realizing that one part of it depends on the other ( and can't live without it ), I said to myself: Whoever is able to create this must be a really great artist. It's like a gods mobilé ( don't know whether this word also
exists in the english language ).

@Alex: Unfortunately, as I made my trip through Your wonderful country as a backpacker ( 10000 km in three months ), I didn't have adequate equipment with me for taking pictures of all those wild animals I happened to see there. But for taking
some landscape shots my little cam worked quite well.
