This pic gives me a feeling of silence, peace, escape, simplicity. But then it also gives me the feeling of being trapped, cut-off, isolated, depressed....hmmm ... OK, it started out calm and became disturbing...what have you done?! Anyway, I like it with the grain--gives it the look of a painting, but also think it would be interesting to see without so much grain.

I like the grain and no objection to the spillover from the window either. Wouldn't change a thing.

Great shot in classic style. I like the way the print gets darker towards the edges like the old non-aspherical lenses did. Only change I'd make is darken the window it's a little hot and pulls the eye away from the chair.

great shot! i agree with the steve's. a good shot doesn't always have to be technically perfect. it's the mood and composition that makes this image for me.

I don't think this photograph is over-exposed from an artisitic point of view. The grain works well - period! I would have shot this the very same way - maybe even more grain. Fine grain and even exposure doesn't always make for a great photograph.

This is my kind of image. The exposure looks fine to me and the grain doesn't detract. I would burn in the window a bit to reduce the glare.

This is classic. Very interesting lines that lead into the image, as well as that lonley chair. Love it!

A great illustration of emptiness... but the pic is too grainy and looks over-exposed... doesn't matter, looks like it's only scanning problem
