A real 'eye-catcher'! Great colours - one for the wall! Spent a bit of time in DC as well - in a previous life! Wish I had been handier with a camera back then.

Hi Harlan. For my taste, for your portfolio and generaly for abstract this composition is pretty original. Good eye and nice two colour composition. Not bad lighting but it can be little bit better so the sharpness ....also not bad but little bit more can give great clarity at the ''lines' of metals.

I like, as the others, the contrast and the details of textures with the two colors and I say in the simplicity , many time, we can discovery all the charm of the thing...
I hope I'm clear... regards, Tommaso

The color makes this scene imo. I also find it amusing to see the layers of paint - I always like it when people just slap on the paint without any prep - more character - less hiding than you might think.

Good eye. I probably would have walked right by this. Did you go searching for something like this, or did you notice it by happenstance. Good work - Bob T.

I like the composition and above all the simplicity and colors therein :-). The texture (paint and dings) of the metal doors is quite apparent giving body to a two dimentional image. The latch seems just a bit overexposed on the edges but I think the shot is very good overall. Regards Otto
