About	The "Exy Johnson" and her sister ship the "Irving Johnson" are classified as Brigantine rigs. Since their launch in 2002, these two ships have given thousands of young people the opportunity to experience life changing adventure and education found only on a tall ship at sea. The ships are named after the late captain Irving and Electa Johnson who were character building sail training pioneers and 7 time circumnavigators with youth crew aboard their vessels.
