About Canon Camera bought/licensed this image from me. It was published in a European Canon EOS 550D Camera Brochure in 2009 (150,000 Issue Release). This one was taken in Nanticoke, Md. after two years of visiting the same spot several times a month. The sandbar never looks the same because of the tides and heavy currents. I then had to contend with wind which is almost always present and fisherman/campers over the summer (almost always someone on it). On one cold Feb. night I got lucky and everything came together. The sky went from yellow, to blue and then to an amazing orange. I managed to capture an image in each color from different angles.
