Thanks for you critique. I love to get suggestions and different opinions. At the time I only had one lens and had never used the camera before. I bought it years ago but career and life got in my way from trying it out. I since have retired and have begun exploring the world of photography. I do like to photograph dogs, but have many other interest as well. At the moment I choose to post my dog photos. Next week may be something.:)I agree it is hard to know how much equipment to carry.I am on Facebook if you would like to see additional photos and my progress in past 6 months. Thanks

Eye POPPING, bright colors - a real attention graber. I love the simple left to right linear image. The blue, above and below really ties everything together. From what I have seen of your pictures this is a little different from most - you seem to like dogs & textures as I but always fun to vary. Noticed you used a 18 - 55 mm lens, I wonder what a little wider lens would have done. Maybe a 12mm. I just have not decided how much equipment I want to carry. Thanks

Thanks Mike. They are very soothing, relaxing colors. I wish the photo were a bit clearer. I lost some detail when I posted it.
