Thank you very much for the feedback, dear Ali; and of course I'm glad to see it; it's the way to learn and see more.
My problem there for sure is that everything in this place is squeezed on small space; the Academy, other buildings, Copernicus' monument, and the street with rather big traffic. as for another angle I guess I have to wait till summer holidays when this street is closed for car traffic for weekends :)
You're absolutely right as for too little sky above the dome and too much foreground. Maybe I should have cropped from down before posting...

Since you posted in "Critique Corner" this means you wants real critiques, I’m not sure if I’m capable to give you a real one or not but I will try my best, as I understood from your title; your subject is the Academy and this is great, first of all it is tilted just a hair to the right, I like the blue color of the dome but unfortunately the details on the right are missing, it would be much much better if you can show a tiny line between the dome and the sky and show more sky on the top. Second, I don’t think you need this much of the foreground, and finally the building in the left and the street lights on the top right side are little bit disturbing, may be some other angle and earlier than this time would help to accomplish good result. Wonderful night photo, Ania.
It makes me remeber the several visit I did to Warsaw in the 80', some of them invited by a member of the Academy,
the outstanding jurist, the late Sylwester Zawadisky, dear friend of mine. I love Warsaw.
