Eleven-hour (Portulaca grandiflora) is a plant family Portulacaceae, native to South America, occurring from southeastern Brazil to Uruguay and Argentina can also be found in southern Asia. In Bangladesh it is known as "Time Fool" (something like "fool time"), because of its flowering occurs according to time, usually around noon. It is an annual plant, very small and fast growing , reaching 30 cm tall. The leaves are thick and fleshy, with 2 cm long and arranged alternately in small groups. The flowers have a diameter between 2 and 3 cm with five petals that are red, orange, pink, white and yellow. [1] It is also known as purslane (former designation, which includes other species of different genera). In Brazil it named after eleven o'clock, it begins to open its flowers next 11 hours.
