About	On the text at the back of the image it says ( mums handwriting) "pabe Beukema Pasop". Translated: mr Beukema living in a place named Pasop". Mums dad, Abel Smilda, has worked there at the farm of mr Beukema (a big landowner ). But ....... I think it is not pabe Beukema but a nephew or cousin of Rensktje Prins. Residence the little village of Enumatil. I saw many more of this gentleman and in all other references it is a relative of Rensktje Prins. Yes, the image is blurry and it is a surprise to see that the hand at the chair is in focus ! I have seen that on only one image before of Wiebe Krol. Possibly exactly the same wrong setup was used as in this image :) Funny. Rensktje Prins is the Grandmother of my grandmother, Rensktje Krol. Rensktje Krol born * 23-11-1907 Married to Abel Smilda Abel Smilda and Rensktje Krol are the parents of my mum Feikje Smilda Date: estimated 1925 Photo by: Foto Steenmeijer Zwanestraat 47 Groningen For documentary reasons I left all spots on the photo as original . Location of the photo-studio is in the city of Groningen It was in this street you are looking into. The photo-studio was on the left side where now is a yellow painted building with a blue sunscreen carrying the name Style Company. It is the place where this photo was made. My hard disk partition was formatted, the pc did not boot anymore and my heart was and still is broken, feeling old pain of complete loneliness and desolation ........... :(
