I agree that the trees do pull my eyes off to the right, but it could be because they are so heavy and dark... what if you just had one tree in the foreground? Looking at how close together they are it might be difficult to do though. I think you need something in the foreground, otherwise your shot is split in the middle by water and vines. So, if you are going to try to eliminate the trees, just watch your horizon. The colours are nice and vibrant here and the lines of the vines are powerful.
Thanks for the comments Koen! I had some thoughts about that subject when composing this shot, but at last I thought the perspective in the vineyard would pop into your eye before the trees would. Guess I was wrong :). Without the trees, I had no framing, and if I walked a bit to the right, I missed the effect in the vineyard that I wanted. I'll try again soon :).
Nice colour rendition and sharp. The only problem is that, as soon as I look at a tree in the foreground, my eye wants to follow the rest, and then it goes almost out of the frame. I think the orange roofs of the houses in the background are a good thing here. They make it a lot more interesting.
