The highest parts are on the Polish-Slovakian border; most of the highest peaks are at Slovakian side; the Polish highest one is Rysy, 2499 m ;)

You gave me an interesting information; I even didn't feel it may look un-European; such landscape is typical for mountain ranges in Middle-Eastern Europe; like south Poland and north Slovakia :)

Również kocham góry... Przez Tatry słowackie tylko przejeżdżałam, ale tam jest dużo górzystych terenów.
Wrzuciłam jeszcze jedną fotkę z pociągu, tam też załapało się nieco cywilizacji, ale bezdrutowej i nie włażącej na same góry :]

Piekne. Kocham gory.
Fotka cudna, tylko ta "cywilizacja", wszedzie wlezie. Strasznie psuje ten wspanialy widok. Zeby nie te pierunskie druty to fotka pokazowa, jak nalezy zachowac trojpodzial. Wszystko na swoim miejscu. Mimo drutow oceniam na 10+.

I like mountains so much too, there is something really great when you walk in the valley and have high mountains over your head, and streams on your side, pure nature, that's right...
Hope to take my boyfriend to Polish part of Tatras when he comes here finally...
