Hi Visar,
and thanks once more for the in deoth going comment!
I also realize the fidelity of photographical reproduction when using such great cameras like Mamy or Hsssie, and I realize that by being astonished too. I could never think of such possibilities without trying them out.
The wall at the left looks to me quite problematic now too. It is too little for doing something and too much for being neglected. So I guess I have to go there and try again. It is simply a pity to waste valuable space on an image by inclusing irrelevant things. And I will try that in both ways: Either leaving it completely off image, or including much more of it for a perhaps stronger perspective of the "street canyon" that leads to that painted building. So lets see which attitude is better.
Thanks a bunch!
Nick

Hi Nick,
though i have been in Lucerne, shortly on a summer day, i think that i have gotten accustumed to this town so well through your images that i miss no detail of it (and i consider the fact that i expect more photos from there)! :)
apart for the beautiful building facade, and all the neighbourhood that you choose for a subject, i am fascinated with the little details of the details wherever i look at in this picture. and these details are not "just" details, they are visible in the most faithful way, preserviing tonality and shape...
about the composition i think that that wallstripe on the left does not give or take much from the image. there's no attractive details on its surface but still does not take much surface the whole of the entirety, and to improve it, from this vantage point/ perspective, is not possible. however, that does not convince me much- so i choose to igonre it. or maybe you had some other idea that i cannot see!?
still your Hassie is keeping me dazzled! cheers, v.

Well, it was earlier than my usual time to wake up, Dave, but not so very early, really. In Lucerne the day starts at about 10:00 to 11:00 on Saturdays. A very lazy, laid back town. ;-)
Thanks a lot!
Nick
