yes ,the D3 could use DX and FX lenses ,the camera could be used as a full frame and a half frame one,even more you could use the DX lens with the full sensor,but you will get a dark vignetting around the shot,

I have done a lot of shots of them ,in two of them those managers try to masquerades by putting something ilke a bottle and an their hands in front of their eyes,

Mostly managers are preferring to sit at highest level, except over here.
I have never never understood anything about their aim :-), but I only notice that what is good enough is deserving a top position.
Your image and title combined deserve such a position.
