Thanks for your comment, Ibrahim! Always so thoughtful! I do not use a tripod for most of my macros of insects. Usually, I attach three flash units and vary their output in order to get some modeling and a nice shadow. My technique is to handhold and focus manually.

Superb capture Eb, so fine, so sharp,I can't talk about the colors, they are perfect, i like the effect of gold color .
Did you used the tripod when converter attached?

Thanks, Dave! You are very observant about the aperture. I believe I would have had three macro flash units attached - hence plenty of light for the f/45. I also corrected the posted specs, I used a 200mm lens plus macro converter rather than the previously stated 300mm plus TC.
