Thanks a bunch for the attachments, Andre! except of being so intersting photographically, they also remind me of s and p Orbitals of quantum mechanics! Surely candidates for a series about "Mathematics and nature"! - Soon I'll ne posting a series named so, and so I just had to think of that. ;-)
Cheers!

The "swan lake" you say.... Thanks a lot for referring to that, Visar! I had a vague "remembrance" in mind, but I couldn't really say what it reminds me of too, and you found that for me!
Which makes me thinking about perhapy tryig some more of this style. Let me see.
Cheers!

And then there is the Double Ferris Wheel. I'm not sure of the length of time exposure. It is written on the slide most likely. I used a tripod. I think these were taken about 1971, with my Nikkormat FTN using Ektachrome slides. Andre

Hi Nick, I searched all through my digital images to find the image I was talking about, but I couldn't find it. I only scanned a small portion of my slides from that time. How about this one instead. :) Ferris Wheels are very interesting with time exposures. Andre

Hi Nick,
i see how fun it must have been working on getting those results of the shapes with your "moving camera"~
this one reminds me of the "swan lake", with all the beautiful ballerinas on the front line in perfect dencing symetry- and the prima ballerina just over their heads, on the left, getting ready for the floor.
Nick, my friend, you have make a grand show for us with this one. absolutely dazzling!
cheers, v.

Yes, Andre, the traces of moving lights on images can produce quite interesting results. BTW, did you post also any of those images of yours here? If yo, could you give me some URL, please? I am getting into that slowly and so I would be glad for some views of similar images.
Cheers and thanks a lot!

Interesante el efecto logrado, la sobre exposición sumada a un adecuado movimiento lateral, me gustan los tonos rojos muy cálidos y como siempre, lográs una balanceada exposición.
Un abrazo!

Hi Nick, This kind of thing is always interesting. I remember doing some slide images many years ago of the Toronto skyline. I put the camera on a tripod and moved the camera on the ball head vertically with about 5 second exposure. This one reminds me of my own results because I also had a reflection of the lights in the lake that seemed to compound the effect. Andre
