thank you for your very thoughtout comments. i agree with you regarding details at this size. this is a scan of an old film. maybe when i have better scanner i will repost it to display more details. thans again, have a good weekend. :)

The thumb caught already my attention for its powerful contrasts, Amjad, and the big one raised the power of visual excitement. You managed very well to convey the (almost too mighty) grandiosity of your subject under the special lighting. The good details in hard contrasts are an eye magnet and the only pity is that the range of dynamics was too high for some more of them on the highlights and on the shadows. Speaking of details, there are the artefacts of hard pixelation and compression on them, the high contrast makes it look OK at this size.

The chosen angle and symmetric composition have something very "architectural" in this case. Good choise.
