dear riny...
100000% agree to your view. when one starts photography, he/she should abide with these "rules", but when one moves up with experience, he/she should always try to find the other ways of composing a shot to make it more unique. i have seen more award winning shots with rule-breaking as they arr more unique from a viewer's perspective.

I have always felt that following the rules of photographic composition leads to stagnation. In fact, I feel that all photographic "rules" should be looked at as guidelines, not as givens.. it's hard to define precisely what abstract photography is..What do you think Soumya..? take care dear friend,riny
