Thanks Paul, I adjusted the Blue channel in levels on this one to give the sky a little more punch. I think that was all I really did and the rainbow colors were not really affected by that. This was pretty much out of camera. I think polarizing filter might be worth a try to see what happens. I am going to use one more often to see how I can tame the hard summer light. Thanks for finding this and for your encouraging words.

Wow Stan great shot......Glad I stopped by to catch this one. I saw my first rainbow last week and it was a perfect one. I got out with my camera and shot what I thought would be good photos of the colors as they were still quite strong.
Got a half dozen or so but they really dident come out. The rainbow was full but only a small part of it showed. I need some advice. Anything special to it? Wonderful shot and pleasure to view this. Lovely colors with good textures and details. Lighting and exposure are point on!

Thanks Saad, I am on the coast of Washington and Oregon this week and just checked my mail on a friends laptop. Glad you liked this one. I adjusted it in the blue channel to give the clouds a little more definition. It was a beautiful morning when I took this. Hope all is well.

Thanks Nicki, I stepped out to see if the rain had stopped and was greeted with this view. The light was good for this. Played with the blue color correction for some extra on the sky!!
