About	I'm guessing this rather defiant fir tree had blown down years ago and this branch had become the new trunk. At some point it slid off the hill and onto the beach, remaining in it's upright position. No sunset appeared that night, and as I walked back up the beach, this image presented itself to me. Original is on Kodachrome64 but converting the pale purple/gray image to B&W seemed the right thing to do.

Thank you Anindya. I'm glad I captured this image. The tree was gone from the beach the following winter after the usual storms we have here.
By the way, your people or portrait photography is just fantastic. I don't know know to do that kind of thing.
