About Our friends cat being friendly to her sons pet rat. Three cats in the house and they all ignore the rat. Seem to know they cant eat it. Not sure I would fully trust them though.

Thanks Nicki. The rats not actually in a cage. Hes is a mini shopping trolley, all open on top and just sitting on the table outside. Cat just looks in and does nothing. Might be different if no-one was there. Althought while we were there no-one said anything to the cat and it eventually walked away.
