About I glued 2 shots together here for this pano. Lake is a bronze colour and captures the reflections off Mt Cook. Unfortunatly there was a slight ripple and the clouds were covering the mountain. Taken with 28mm manual at 1/640 and 100iso

An excellent composition Keith looking awesome in the full splendour of panorama. A lovely reflection just gently rippling in the breeze. Beautiful 'watercolour' tones looking completely natural. One little picky thing, you forgot to tell us which glue you used. Was it a standard paper glue, or, did you go for the throat and use a super glue . Well done my Kiwi friend. My very besy wishes to you as always.....Ray

Thanks Dan for all that. Unfortunatly when i go into paint pro to do borders, it does it and i cant find how to stop it. Got to be a setting somewhere thats ticked or not ticked. All the converting from raw to jpg, i do in P/S. Thanks again.

Hi Keith,

All the EXIF is there that I would have expected to see from explorer. Yes reducing the size is strips away pixels, so it can be quite important to select the appropriate reduction method otherwise you could end up loosing a lot of contrast and even details.

The exif info is not on the large picture as you would normally see it, but it there one the full size panorama. You see much less exif from explorer than if you go into file info from Photoshop or other photo editing software see attached from explorer on this photo. If I look in photoshop I do see that there is not as much information now that I would expect. My Suggestion is use Photoshop. I hope this was what you were asking?

Im not exactly sure where the sun was lol. Bush all around and i took it from the lookout about 20 minutes around, not the other end. I alter the ev a lot of times depending on what im doing and the subject and in this case it was a 30year old manual lens and i was on av. Best way of getting it right. Can tell from the optic preview if its right. I only use paint Pro to do the borders and some resizing. It makes a lot smaller file. Cant tell any difference in the final look and havnt got a clue if its compressing or stripping info away. Cant find any way of altering it. Dosnt seem to be as much exif. Maybe you can help there.
Thanks Dan buddy.

So it was 6.30 pm ;-), oooooh you used paintshop pro 12 to edit it ;-), ev -1, I am supprised you needed that at this time, because the sun rises from that direction, so must have been almost directly behind you.
