Hi again after my long absence, Visar!

"Superficial" is one of the very well said words about the essence of photography. Whatever one does it remains only that: superficial. But this allows also for some movement as things can get much less defined than they are otherwise.

I dodn't see the movie "Last Year at Marienbad" yet. I'll try to get the DVD if I find it and watch it. From what I read it must be one of a kind. Thanks for telling me!

Cheers!

Nick

Indeed Nick, i am still continuing with stressing dark vs light, and the reality generated when the both meet on the subject- which of course only generate a certain superficial behavior on the subject- much like in any photograph actually!!

yes, she just stands and smoke- much like in any place in outter space, or wherever may it be, and that our imagination might teleport us- i also think the same!

thank you a lot, another one- cheers,
v.

p.s. I watched recently one of my fav movies of all time "Last Year at Marienbad"- it was mind blowing- it gave me much more to digest than many things i have seen or read... a landmark!
please watch it if you can find (if you haven't already).

thank you Marcio,
I do my best to getting the result i want- though, many times i fail nonetheless, but that is not a problem- just further push and harder work to make imagination flesh! ;)

v.

Your visual trip to the 1960's 1970's seems to last a whole while, Visar! The first idea that came into my mind when I saw it was "Space 1999" because of the subtleness between being here and "somewhere else". The very soft transitions between reality and a scene of some vague idea work like a marriage of matter and anti-matter to me. It is much like being able to observe something, some world, some event that was not meant for me in the sense of physics itself. I am transferred to the negative zone through Visar's visor, that is! Great!

The tight coloring and especially that kind of vague motion blur (horozontally) sipport all that very well. But most of all it gets supported by the fact that the wman doesn't do anything unusual. She just stands and smokes. Much like what I would expect to see of I were to be transferred to some "parallel world". And of course jazz would be there too - expect no miracles and no cubic planets. Just like "here".

Another one buddy! Cheers!

Nick

this picture is like the moon... it never shows one of the faces to the sun. I love the way the colors give substance to the reddish light. congrats
