About Shaping our thoughts ?

Sometimes a sculpture tells us another story as the sculptor originally had in mind.

There are two main techniques traditionally employed in sculpture: carving, involving the cutting away of hard materials such as wood or stone to reveal an image; and modelling, involving the building up of an image from malleable materials, such as clay or wax, which may then be cast in bronze.

oh my friend ..
I really do not know .. I believe that the award is possible if the photos you like personally.
when your picture speaks to you, then the prize is won.

(ps the contrast of dof and composition of the opposition-with the woman is beautiful ..)

The photos must convey emotion. is more simple and obvious, the more the result is immediate!
vito, my dear friend told me to take an idea and grow it .. take this forward .. as a project!
and the results come..

take care

roby

Hi, you like the contrast between some sort of a monkey and such a beautiful woman. Thank you :-)
Roby, teach me please how to win prizes? There should be a secret in making special captures of the observed. Tell me how please :-)
Best regards,
Paul

Thank you Luca. The monkey did not move so it was not too difficult to get it sharp. However women, particularly such dynamic and restless: not easy to capture.
All the best my friend,
Paul

Hi Jacques, glad to hear that you appreciate the woman in the background. Be glad she is out of focus as in focus she could be very dominant :-)

Bonjour Nicki,
Merci de ta visite et de ton commentaire.
Depuis des mois je fait une assimilation intensive en Norvège. Au moins au niveau culturel et linquistique c´est une avonture. Ma caméra m´aide tous les jours à voir autrement.
Gros bisous,
Paul
