I think all B&W would have worked just as well in this case too. I like that "zombie" train and clock tower together in one image.

Oh yeah, the pigeon up the top! That actually adds some scale to the structure there (bigger than I thought). The depth is great, the pale greys to draw the clock are perfect, and the subjects all cool. (Great series this)
I usually yawn when some boring old pro asks for more contrast but really feel this could have benefitted from more depth to the darker tones, or just something to peel the paint away a bit more.
Hmmm just tried it. really makes the train come forward, which DOES push the clock into a corner. :)
