About Slide 1979 ( 30 years old ).
From the earliest series made with my first SLR, the Fuji ST701.
I lived in a small village ( 400 inhabitants ) and the nights were still dark as could be, one could see clearly the nebula of the milky way. Impressive.
I think Dr Sarkar can tell you the connection between the "milky way" and the reason why the cow is a holy animal in India. We now wait for a life connection to Kolkota for comment by Dr. Sarkar.

It looks like this exposure also captured the individual stars after the trails, but the camera was shifted a bit from the trails. The sky has a nice shade of blue.
