About	I was quite reluctant here to apply the rule of thirds, but still I don't have any good explanation of the reasons for that. Any comments would be very welcome.

I would rather say that this is the usual reaction of the starters in photography Kiarang. Give them something with a limited DoF and it is automatically "artistic" to them. Unfortunately many remain in this state for ever and don't see any other sense in photography than to define single objects by using limited DoF. This is some kind of "poetry album of college boys and girls" to me. ;-)

Anyway, this is a current fashion of photography and fashions come and go.
