Thanks so much Riny, glad I got someone stoked ;-). If you have any questions fire away I am happy to help you into the world of IR, not an easy transition, but with help I am sure it will be much smoother. I learned mine through lots of investigation and reading articles and experimenting.
These are called false colour IR shots, a 720nm filter is used which lets a bit of the red spectrum and some yellow if you expose wrongly. So instead of having brownish skys we flip the red and blue channels to create the blue skys which are more realistic to people like my friend Keith Growden :-).

Hi Dan,These pictures are BEAUTIFUL. I don't have much experience with colour infrared but these shots work.
Excellent job!
I'm going to get a good digital camera VERY soon - especially now that I've seen how much fun colour infrared can be. You got me stoked!
