intrinsic beauty is a curse, aquired beauty, a blessing. This moves me with both of its beauties. The hand on the lip is a nice touch. The hair on the left looks like a painting by Goya.

nothing left to give, nothing left to take, sometimes I want to blow it all away, the lips here blowing invisible smoke, trust me, I am not one to want to annihilate the world, but I'd like to annihilate the problems, the things that suck the life out of me... please regard this as part of a series. Mary, I think that perhaps your interpretation of this image is disturbing more so than the image itself, it's about being damaged, not about damaging, if the title weren't what it were would you see it the same? Beauty and damage all intertwined... I wear my scars on the outside... how can I make you understand? maybe only by disturbing you. Last night I sat up and read a few hundred poems written by a suicidal teenager, the one who still lurks at the back of my mind... these images are my wonderland, the part of me that didn't grow up, that couldn't put it all behind me... puff, poof, it's gone... sometimes I want to blow it all away.
