Thanks a lot for the brainstorming on this one, Visar! The "empty" part proves to be not empty at all if one considers it as a generator of that kind of tension. Nuch like the "empty" beats of hard rock, when nothing else is to be heard than the dry impact of the stick on a snare. That's rhythm!
The burden of materiality is inevitable for any intelligence that can develop the wish to get rid of it. Nice tension again if you think of it.
Cheers!
Nick

Hi Nick,
the border-edged composition was inevitable to work out this image; this idea- Aurel is my brother, and many times we talk he infusses my brain with much innocence that fall prey to laws of physics, but would perfectly make sense in the logic and bodylessness- (as it is that burden that we actually have to carry wherever we go)!!
i am too glad that you mentioned the other part of the canvas, the strong texture on the wall; for, it looked somewhat empty and monotonuous~ but then i thought that that would, maybe, provoke the idea of space to which the subject is opposed and that is directly linked with his imagination!!
thank you a lot for the time you spent on my work- always greatful for your observations;
... and cheers ;), v.

thank you thank you Vanessa,
he is my little brother, always looking for something that in fact opposses the laws of gravity, in most innocent and sinceare way and with much sense to it~ perhaps, only later on he'll be conscious about that burden we all carry- our body! :)

What a minimal, modern, suddenly "cut" composition that plays also some nice tricks as it woos with the rule of thirds. It waas a great idea to get it this way from exactly this angle, Visar! The power of... well, how do I name that? "Balanced unbalance"? OK, the power of the balanced unbalance generates tension out of almost nothing!
The texture of the wall (or floor?) is perfectly strong and so it completely avoids the monotony on the lower half if the image. I find the plasticity of that face very well captured too, which shows that the exposure was perfectly balanced for that.
A modern design on good old film. It always gives remarkable results.
Cheers!
Nick
