This was taken inside a canyon in Death Valley National Park. I am sitting on one wall of the canyon and the other makes for the background. It is a hike to get this low to be even with the planes. They fly inside this crack in the ground. It is like watching Star Wars in the nature. Sorry for my late response. It is getting cold again I will be heading there soon.

I thought that was exactly why hermits sat on mountain tops? To calm themselves? Maybe I got that all wrong.

Still, nice work. Nonetheless, there is something reminiscent of childhood here.

Hello James. Thank You for the comment. The plane is real unless the Navy is flying fake ones. It took me over a year to find these locations where I can get the aircraft against some solid background. I am working on organizing a work shop for those interested, but it really is a game of patience. The last time I spent a week sitting on a ridge and only two days were productive. Sometimes it is like pushing my sanity to the limits, or maybe even crossing them a few times

It looks like a toy. You know what I mean? Surreal. Pebbles in the background. But I know it's not.

Very nicely captured, great work stopping the back ground so perfectly, I love the exhaust marks left by the plane.
