About	Been looking at this for a while and although for the most part I like it I find the street light a bit distracting Decided to upload it anyway as I feel there is more to like than dislike Will have to go back and do better

Hi Keith!

In my opinion I don´t think the street light is distracting at all, it provides some movement and you strive to search the entire image along the street. Good work!!

So, I see you've been playing with HDR as well. What is getting me excited is that it would seem to have potential in many different ways: generally enhancing an image, bringing out detail in B&W, creating surreal effects, to name just a few.

I guess this falls in the surreal category. I know some people dislike this style but I find that used on the right image it can be very powerful, as here.

I like the contrast of colours of the road and buildings against the slot of sky. I see what you mean about the closest street light - it does perhaps draw the eye a little too much.
