Happy Birthday Ansel Adams! February 20, 1902. Though you left us for "higher grounds" to photograph in 1984, your legacy lives on with the numerous websites that honor your art of photograpy. You were my inspiration! Hope there's lots of film in heaven, cause I bet you've taken some "doozies" by now!
His Contribution to the art of Photography was his invention of the Zone system,with someone else,and that was applied for the gray toned film,then it was incorporated in the digital cameras,once you have shot a photo in the auto mode,there is something related to the zone system is to be done inside the camera,and if you want to shoot in the manual,or other non auto modes ,you have to apply the zone system to get the proper exposure, a nice tribute to the man,regards, Saad.
