Hi Roberto,
Im still learning the "do's and dont's" of composition, so your indepth view is much appreciated. Im starting to gain a better knowledge of what im trying to capture and composition,but i feel the technical side of photographing is still a weakness. I think your right - the picture would be better horizontal and cropped.
Your portfollio is just incredible Roberto.

hi kevin
oh.. just i think the use on horizontal cut with the tree on right part and cenetr of frame..on left you have the an evergreen hedge that seems from the center and go in the left ..
maybe the picture would "breathe" more .. and would not have seemed "closed" in a vertical cut that increases the prospect ..
possibly cut perfectly square would have the whole tree of the right and balanced image!
I think that in this case the effect of the tree seems a central 3D, where the frame wants to leave the photogramm. the snowing-hill is so perfect on the frame!

Snow is perhaps the sense of quiet and the picture should be horizontal
