I am a curious guy. Just like to see what is under the hood. I will come up with a one light and a Modifier for bounce to see what happens. I just enjoy the endless possibilities there are and the chance of pulling a shot off. Thanks for the facts and figures. just helps me visualize what is going on.
Love Bop

Stan,

You will have a great time shooting you Son. Let him be himself and not posing per say. Hold on and I'll go look at the set up, as it's still there the way we left it that night. hehehe

1 Alien B800 on his righ with a 7" reflector set on power between 1/3 and 1/4th of full power 44" from the wall. 1 Alien B800 on his left with a 7" reflector set on power at 1/3 of full power. Both at a 45 degree angle towards the wall.

Chase had his butt on a posing stool 48" from the wall. I know you are a craftsman and you like to the inch and all data, but you don't need it. Just see what looks good at the time and go with it.

Most of the time I would love to have the model 14' from the wall and the strobes 8' from the wall on full power, but it was in my home studio and I don't have the room... hehehe

Hope this isn't helpful at all, because you can do much better than me anyday of the week using your own style my friend... ;)

Love,

Marty

I may not be able to match the Jack and Coke but I can try the lighting experiments to see what I do come up with. I will shoot some off Sean when he gets to Montana. I will try to see if I can get the pose using my son. Should be fun. How far a way from the wall was Chase and how far was the light between the wall and Chase?? Thanks, Stan

Stan,

You have the same lens I shot this with, so you too can get the detail. Not sure you can get the pose with your models, or the light.

It's got to be done well after midnight and many Jack "N" Cokes for both parties... hehehe

We both were "Loose as a Goose" LMAO

Love,

Marty
