Indeed, Ian! The tonal range is excellent to me too, though in a less "cartoon-ish" appeal. It looks very real to me.

Thisn one is a strong as it can be to me, Marcio! Again such an exact exposure balance that supports the face expression so well. And the expression this time goes more toward a very serious theater scene. The timing was exactly as perfect as the exposure balance too.
The restriction of the DoF mainly around his face gave the guy the extra boosting of importance! A real *main* character in one strong characteristic moment of listening carefully to the music and synchrinizing his play with it. (So I perceive it.)
