The thumb immediately took my attention, Indranil, and the fill size image is even stronger. The tonal range, very good by itself, also inludes that high and "sudden" contrast against the background, which of course makes the face and the expression pop out of the image. The plasticity of the face is very well retained too. Perhaps some bit of better focus on it, or is the subtle softness a result of clipping? Still a portrait with impact and tension of big contrast. Very well done!
