About I have a great amount of respect for these people. They rake for hours the bottom of the bay for "quahogs" (native shell fish). Besides being very demanding physicaly you have to keep in mind the air temp. is about 17-18 fahrenheit so that will be about 7- celsius and I assume the water is not any better. If you fall you won't last long and as you can see there are no people around to help. So...good luck to this man and I sincerly hope the price of quahogs goes up, they deserve it.
