Hi Tomasso,
Happy New Year,
Iso at 3200 is now within the reach with this Nikon and indeed again about the limit as it was just 800 with my previous camera. Too high noise levels are getting distracting for increasing ASA. You are right. I actually need a tripod with low shutter speeds to fight against background noise, but I'm afraid that here I would have missed the crossing cat in almost 2 seconds shutter speed at 200 ASA. No Noise, but probably also no cat :) These animals have no patience.
Whole photographer's life seems to be a sequence of compromises :-)

Very nice image Paul, good elements placed well, like the cat that fill up the empty road and also about its color that composed with the whites of the buildings, nice path and also signs, very good exposure.
a bit less noise could be nice however a night shot without a tripod could be a difficult one, no problem for me so...
