Thanks a lot, Kiarang!

We all have to look exactly and learn things from each other. It is nice and it is useful too.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the nice and also very generous comment, Kiarang!

Well, as I already said, creativity is not the key. Creative we are all as human beings, in the sense that we all have ideas, inspiration, the wish to do "something" in our minds. The key is how to translate the latent, virtual results of creativity into real existing images (poems, songs, music, whatever). It is this that decides and distinguishes between what we carry in mind and what we turn to real.

In this sense the idea behind this image might have been as well "creative". And I am glad if you got the idea out of this rather "unfinished" image. But nonetheless it *is* unfinished still. It needed refinement in order to be the perfect "representation", or "expression" of the underlying idea. I don't know exactly what is missing - I'd bet on a better clarity of the patterns on snow, but I am not really sure. Have to think it over, that is.

About snap shots... This wasn't one of them. It was rather what I do most of the time. I usually have to stand for some time in front of my subject, to study it, to admire it, to understand it. To accept is as it is. Then I shoot as well as I can. This was ine of these cases. But still my understanding was not complete, as we see on the translation of the idea to a shot.

About things around me.. they are always fine. Even when they are worst possible! ;-)

Cheers!

Thanks a lot agaon, Dave!

Sigh! I still have the impression that the tracks and the footprints do not yet have the clarity that they deserve.

Cheers!

Thank you very much, Vandy!

That pattern... it needed some more definite power I guess. I don't know exactly but I guess that its details/contrast are not really crispy.

Cheers!

Another two words, thank you, Saad!

And some words more, namely that it surely needs refinement.

Cheers!

Again indeed, Indranil! It is not what but rather how we capture. Quite in contrast to the impressions of the naive ones, one doesn't need to hunt behind "extraordinary things" for good photography. Photography is to *make* things extraordinary.

And so, in this sense the image far less than "perfect". To see that and try a shot is piece of cake, as I said so often already. To turn it to the best possible representation of what one saw is a bit more difficult. This one is OK perhaps but doesn't reach the maximum of its possibilities. I wonder why, that is.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot, Supriyo!

Well, as already said, to be creative is piece of cake. We are all creative, that's nothing. But to convert the creative ideas into good images is not as piece of cake, and most of the time my "creativity" overweights completely my capability of that conversion. ;-)

Cheers!

This is a great one; a very harmonic yet impressive effect with the lines all arround the composition.
glad to find you still active and creative in photography and snap shots.

Great observation once again. You proved here, with perfect composition and framing any simple thing will become very attractive. Great thinking indeed.
