Hello dear Ray,
As you'll have noticed, I've been away for quite some time now... too much to do and too little time to be a good UF'er (just posting and no commenting isn't really my style, so silence is pretty much the only option). But just to let you know: yes I'm still very much alive and kicking. Wishing you and your loved ones a super 2009 with lots of great (photo)moments!!!
This is a very 'fitting' pic to go with fine words. Love the angle, fine details, great POV... One little thing: the footprints look to be raised instead of depressed, haven't worked out if my eyes are playing a trick on me or if you are... ;-DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I see the footsteps going away, perhaps I'll see another set of footprints coming back.
Lovely minimalist composition Ray and very symbolic. I counted, there are seven prints left here in the frame, very good odd number.. : } I like the distribution of the footprints and how it is laid out diagonally, from corner to corner. Wonderfully exposed, texture seen cause of the very good low lighting... so many I can say how it is technically good, but that is not the reason why this picture is really good. I like this picture because I see a soul in it, I see the photographer in it. I see a very good person in this photographer.. Merry Christmas my friend..
