Actually Guido this is a pretty good shot, but I would like it even more in B&W per the attached or 'Golden' and/or even 'Blue' as mine if you would like to take a look at these:

focal point tested with a plastic tube moving in and out keeping the canon body in front and see whereabout it focus is.now moving the grey plastic tube in or out allows me to focus at infinty or I think minimum is about 7meters.

I love it, great adaptation and even better results. How fun!! You must be a real inventor type, the hell with hunting and gathering. I really like what you have done. How did you figure your focal length for this? Be well, Stan

its a home made lens. telescope +tripod for 150euro only at supermarked a few years(6 years?) ago. I replaced the oculair by a plastic tube with a canon adapter attached.Very little glass in the lens. only 2 lenses at the front of the tube(900mm length).a fixed existing diafragma halfway and only canon adapter ring at the end(no glass here).

What kind of tripod are you using? Looks pretty serious!! I am looking for a better one but they cost more than my camera did. Any suggestions? What type lens is the 900mm? Sure does a great job! Be well, Stan
