The good thing here is the marriage of the look of viscous oil with the relief-like plasticity that generates a good tension - and a frustrating one. The oil painting character receives life and looks the painter - something like that. The details are somewhere between reality and depiction of reality, which I think makes up for a big part of the essence of this one.
Your simulation of oil color strokes gets better and better. It still needs refinement, but it gets better and better. More faces this way, go on! Make a series of that!

Interesante querido Gustavo! Me gusta más la versión en b&n porque mantiene el punto de interés en la bella modelo :-) La versión en color tiene una apariencia un poco "sucia" que me distrae.

En cuando a mi modelito, es Julia, mi hija, en las fotos parece de más edad, pero tiene solo 10 años...:-) y sí, es mi modelo preferida, sin dudas!
