Thanks for the reply, the 717 is a nice camera, I used to have an 828 and sold it but wish I had kept it, it was such an easy and fun camera to use. After I sold the 828 I bought an H7 which was a huge disappointment so I got rid of it and then happened upon the A-100...it was a nice camera and took decent photos, but after trying a friends a-350 I realized what I was missing, the A-350 reminded me of what photography should be, it was the closest to the F-828 that I so regret selling. The fun was back and ease of use I remembered was suddenly back. I sold the A-100 and am currently waiting on my new A-350K to get here. I am very excited as I ordered it from Amazon.com and they sent me notice that it shipped yesterday and I expect it to come next week. The A-700 and A-900 are sweet cameras as well but trust me...the 14.2 MP A-350 gives very sharp photos and for the money difference I am willing to settle...but then again I really am not settling cause the A-350 has a feature that I very much like and that is the live view feature. Thanks again and I look forward to sharing some photos soon...as I am camera-less at the moment and its driving me nuts.

this shot was taken with an older model dsc717. I also us the dsc - w7 and H50. How did you like the a100 and a 350? I have had my sights on the A700 for quite a while now. This perticular model is compatiable with all my current memory and that 300 mm lens is the draw for me.

Nice, I love snow and you captured a sweet shot there. What model Sony camera are you using? I just sold my A100 and ordered an a350. Thanks
